Delete account

You can delete your Ula account and personal data at any time. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.

Delete in the app

1. Open the Ula app and sign in.
2. Go to Settings.
3. Tap Delete account at the bottom and confirm with Delete permanently.

Your account is deleted and you are signed out.

Delete without the app

If you can't use the app, email [email protected] with the subject “Ula account deletion request”, from the email address on your account or including your phone number. Once we confirm the account is yours, we delete it within 30 days (usually much sooner) and let you know.

What is deleted

• Your profile: name, bio and profile photo
• Your phone number, email address and login account
• Your Instagram and LinkedIn links
• Your check-ins and venue statistics
• Your badges, notifications and push notification devices
• Your pending approach requests and the comments in reviews you wrote

What is kept without your name

• Matches in the other person's history (shown as “Deleted user”) and the ratings given
• Safety and moderation records (an immutable audit log)

These records contain no name, photo or contact details. If the account was banned or restricted, a one-way hash of your login, email and phone is kept so the restriction can't be avoided with a new account.
